Minotaur Stands Above the Rest

LEONIA, August 25 - The mythical Minotaur is making a very real statement in the early goings of the ABL Men's Fall Softball League.

They currently are perched atop the Fall Division standings after their most recent two victories over Goodfellas, with an un-blemished 4-0 record with 51 runs scored and only 31 runs against.

The competition is small this year, but it is extremely tough. Good Wood is also undefeated at 2-0 and have steadily improved season after season.

The Boggsmen are newcomers to the ABL, but have come out of the gate swinging at 3-1, and Arsenal, who once donned the name SOPNJ, also hold a 3-1 record.

The FS Hitmen are dragging their feet a bit to start off the Fall Season, but their track record is one of excellence and D'Anna Electric, the group of rag-tag youngens who took the league by storm last Fall with a dominant performance and a rookie championship campaign stand at 1-1.

Pitches and Hoes and Goodfellas still await their first Fall win, and in this group of beasts that first win will be hard fought without a doubt.

If Minotaur wants to stay atop the standings they will have to get by Arsenal next week in Leonia. This will be a true test for them as Arsenal has really come alive over the last few seasons and have some real heavy hitters in their lineup.
