LEONIA, July 14 - The Kiewit Klowns and Goodwood suited up for their first round playoff games last Sunday and the Klowns showed off their defensive ability with two blow-out wins.
One very key factor for the easy victories for the Kiewit Klowns was the fantastic pitching performance of team captain Jay Pearce.
Jay had allowed the Goodwood team only 11 total hits, mostly singles, in both games this afternoon. Drew Caruthers had 6 RBI's and teammate Marc Jugermann contributed another 5 RBI's on the day.
With their victories,the Kiewit Klowns move on in the ABL playoffs.They will go on to face the young up and coming EC Hawks.
