Hear the Roar from Dan Lyon’s Bat

In the past two games Dan Lyons has torn the cover off the ball.  This sounds made up because in Dan’s last six at bats, Dan has accumulated 11 RBIs.  That’s insane!  Not only is his bat making a lot of noise, Dan’s glove has been just as aggressive at 3rd base.  Batters better read the ABL warning signs of “Beware of Lions” because you will lose a ball.  There are other members in Dan Lyons pride of Farkle that are making them a predator to watch out for in the Bernie Williams Division.

Farkle has won their last 3 games scoring more than 10 runs in each of the games.  Farkle’s Caiti Young has been doing her part scoring 5 runs during Farkle’s current winning streak.  Her teammates are making it easy for Caiti to score because Farkle’s Sean Byrnes & Rob Lennon are no strangers to the long ball.  However, the pride’s attack starts with lead-off man Alex Bially who is as deadly as they come.

Also, in the Nomar Garciappara Division, Onieals Tribe was on a “Mission 50” as they broke their bats over McSwiggans Pub in their 14 to 5 victory.

Tribe’s Lauren Gelmetti helped contribute to a 4-run 1st inning and 6-run 4th inning as she went 3 for 4, with 3 runs.  Since Lauren was moved to the 3 spot in the order, Lauren went 8 for 14 at the plate becoming one of the team’s leading hitters.

There is a 3 homerun limit per team for male batters at Mama Johnson Field.  Although this may be true for most teams, Onieals Tribe apparently doesn’t abide by the league rules as they hit 4 homeruns in the night.  Tribe’s Eric Sossin, Justin Flayer, and Greg Fuchs made it a long night for McSwiggans Pub as they all went yard.  The great player Greg Fuchs is realized the team had exhausted their homerun limit so Greg decided to hit an opposite field, inside the park homerun to help overtake the Titans of ABL.
