A look at the ABL Shuffle Puck Season

HOBOKEN, October 15 -- The ABL Shuffle Puck League at the Ale House is at it's halfway point. Some teams are proving to be hard to beat up till this point.

I Said "Puck You Miss" and Puck Dynasty sit atop the Ale House East standings with sterling 6-2 records. Both squads are more than capable of scoring points as each team has put up 155 points on the season, but I Said "Puck You Miss" holds a defensive advantage with only 78 points against compared to 128 points against for Puck Dynasty.

This could be a determining factor down the road on which team takes control of the Ale House East Division and holds onto it.

Over in the Ale House West...

Too Old for Real Sports stands alone atop the standings with a 7-1 record. The reason why is quite obvious. They don't let teams hang points on them with only 30 points against. That makes for an amazing 130 point difference between how much they score and how much they get scored on.

Too Old for Real Sports is apparently living by the motto that defense wins championships. If they manage to keep on playing solid defense and knocking points away from their opponents they will be the odds on favorite to take the whole enchilada.

The West is by no means won though. "Ayyyy" and Everyday I'm Shufflin' are hot on Too Old's heels with 6-2 records.

Keep up the good puck work teams, there is still a bit of season left to play and no division lead is safe.
